Royal Troon – This great championship course has held nine open championships, most recently in 2016. The traditional links out and back design poses a stiff challenge, particularly in the middle segment of the course which threads through some of the finest links land in the world. The standout Railway and Postage Stamp holes ooze out nostalgia from past open championship moments.
Trump Turnberry – The Ailsa Course is undoubtedly one of the finest links courses in Scotland. Set under the view of the iconic Ailsa Craig, the course has held 4 Open Championships and 7 Senior Opens. Carved into the craggy but elegant Ayrshire coastline The Ailsa is regularly voted as one of the world’s top 20 golf courses.
Prestwick – Steeped in history, Prestwick hosted the first ever open championship and Scottish golf legend Old Tom Morris was the first “ keeper of the greens”. Situated on the glorious Ayrshire coastline Prestwick has held the Open Championship 24 times and is must visit for the avid golfing historian.
Dundonald – Despite opening in 2005 the course has quickly established itself as one of Ayrshires finest links courses. Dundonald combines a luxury golfing experience with a challenging layout which plays over 7300 yards from the back tees.
Western Gailes- Founded in 1897 the original layout has remained largely unchanged. The harsh Scottish weather conditions has played an important role in sculpting the course over the last 100 years. Western Gailes is a classic Scottish links course which we highly recommend you visit.
Glasgow Gailes- Designed by Scottish golfing legend Willie Park Jnr Glasgow Gailes opened in 1892 and is the 9th oldest golf club in the world. A stunning links course which provides a strong test and magnificent views.
